Shirts and bibs will be available for pickup at Gazelle Sports (3930 28th St. SE) on Wednesday, November 21 from 12-5pm You can also pick up your shirt and bib race day at East Grand Rapids Middle School from 6:30-7:45am.
About Kids’ Food Basket: KFB is the only hunger relief organization working with elementary schools to provide evening meals (sack suppers) to hungry children in Kent County. Currently KFB provides sack suppers to approximately 4000 school children in more than 25 schools each day. Decorate a bag (decorated bags are more fun!) and/or bring in items from the wish list to the Gobble Wobble or Gazelle Sports by December 12. Wish list items include: granola bars, cracker packs, 100% fruit juice boxes, individual fruit cups, pudding cups and gelatin cups, snack or sandwich size zipper-lock bags, kids toothbrushes, plastic spoons or napkins.
Parking: Please park at the East Grand Rapids High School or Jade Pig Ramp (Exit on to Wealthy). Note: Roads will be closed to vehicular traffic from 7:45am to approximately 9:15am during event.
Aid Station/Water Stop: We will have one station at the intersection of Reeds Lake Blvd and Pioneer Club Rd
Restrooms: Are located in the Middle School
Dogs: By law, dogs must remain on a leash at all times. You are held responsible for cleaning up after your dog.
Schedule on Thursday morning:
7:00-7:45am Late Registration & Packet Pick Up in East Grand Rapids Middle School Cafeteria
7:45am Line up for Run/Walk
8:00am 4.1 mile begins (walkers line up behind runners)
8:05am Wibble Wobble begins (1 mile fun run/walk)
Post Race Activities in Cafeteria: Kids Area with Face Painting & Balloon Animals, Bag Decorating from Kids’ Food Basket, Refreshments and give-aways

Map/DirectionsCourse: Our course leaves from East Grand Rapids Middle School and runs from the school north on Lakeside Dr SE, north on Reeds Lake Blvd SE, south on Pioneer Club Rd SE, north on Manhattan Rd SE, west on Reeds Lake Blvd SE, north on Hodenpyl Rd SE, south on Rexford Dr SE, west on Reeds Lake Blvd SE, south to Lakeside Dr SE to the school. |
