AboutSunday, May 6, 2012 Building on 31 years of the Borgess Run for the Health of It, leaders in the Kalamazoo area running community are ready to stage the region’s first full marathon. The 26.2 mile race will be conducted next May 8 alongside the Borgess Half Marathon, Borgess 5K Run, Priority Health 5K Walk. Several other activities, including the Meijer Kids Fun Run on Friday, May 4, will round out the weekend. For specific information for participants, please click here. VolunteerWith an event this size, plenty of volunteers will be needed to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. Your help is so very much appreciated! This is a great way to support your friends and family members who may be running in the event. Gazelle Sports will be hosting the aid station on Kalamazoo Mall St., just before the split for the half-marathoners, so both groups of runners will be passing through.
