Vibram Men's FiveFingers TrekSport
I just began running again wearing "traditional running shoes", after several years off...I had done quite a bit of research on the benefits of "barefoot"running and the natural running gate. I decided to take the plunge into the Trek Sport since it seemed to have the best of everything Vibram has come up with put into its latest shoe.
Advice: head your salesperson's warnings about going out and running as far as you usually do the first week! This is a fantastic product in quality, comfort, and performance. Just don't lunge into it too hard too fast because your calves will feel like they are blowing up the next day or two. In spite of having to be patient weening into the Vibram running experience, I feel it's the best shoe choice I have ever made. I only purchased them to run in, but I am having a very hard time not wearing them everywhere doing everything. I would not recommend the Vibrams to everyone, but would recommend them to everyone with the desire and patience to enjoy a more natural and complete running experience.
