This maximum support shoe is designed for large-framed runners with a neutral gate, as well as orthotics wearers. We've made it dramatically lighter, expanded the toe box, improved heel fit and made the midsole firmer to enhance stability.

Features:

Guidance Line™: Vertical flex groove decouples the tooling along the line of progression for enhanced gait efficiency.
Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL® Cushioning Systems: Attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases, and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle.
Trusstic System: Reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe.
ComfortDry™ Sockliner: Provides cushioning performance and anti-microbial properties for a cooler, drier, healthier environment.
P.H.F. (Personal Heel Fit): 2 layers of memory foam line the collar and mold to the athlete’s heel, creating a personalized fit.
Solyte® Midsole Material: A lighter weight midsole compound than ASICS’ standard EVA and SpEVA®. Also features enhanced cushioning and durability.

"I started working out recently and needed a new pair of shoes. I went to a local sports store Gazelle Sports. Emily was helping me and took the time to examine how I walked and what shoes would be best shoe for me. A great service I might add. Along with it I asked for one of those Nike + sensors so it can track my running. There are 2 types, the one that works with the iPod Nano that needs a sensor and the one without the sensor that works with the iPod Touch. I didn't realize it at the time there were 2 types and bought the one with the extra sensor, but didn't need it because I have the iPod Touch. So 15 minutes later Emily calls me and tells me I got the wrong product and I spent too much and to come back and they will make it right. Who calls you after a sale and tells you that? Never in my lifetime. They just got a customer for life."
