Gazelle Sports – Kalamazoo is currently recruiting a highly motivated individual to fill the Assistant Store Manager position for our retail store operation.
The Assistant Store Manager actively supports the teaching and training of staff to create a culture of care for customers as well as ensures the daily operational needs of the store are consistently executed. In partnership with the store manager, the assistant’s responsibilities include teaching and guiding floor staff on all issues related to customer relationship development, product knowledge, and policy and procedures.
The successful candidate should have a sincere passion and energy for leading and supervising staff and possess excellent customer care skills, previous retail supervisory experience, the ability to lead and inspire a diverse sales team, and a commitment to living a healthy lifestyle. Strong community involvement/ local networking experience are desirable.
Position is salaried full time with health and other benefits available.
